Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer, Solar

Location: Redmond, WA

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer, Solar to join our team at our Redmond, WA location. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving manufacturing tools and processes from initial concept development to full-scale production.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work with a cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of our low-latency broadband internet system, Starlink. You will have the chance to interact regularly with senior leadership during critical design phases and own the relationship between the engineering development and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure high-quality products are produced efficiently and effectively
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and drive process improvements
  3. Provide technical expertise to support the design, development, and implementation of new products and technologies
  4. Identify and prioritize opportunities for automation and implement process changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment via professional work experience, project/research-based student experience, or a combination of both
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in software applications such as NX and Teamcenter
  • Experience working with and defining requirements for ERP, MRP, and MES systems
