Job Summary

Madera Community Hospital is seeking a skilled Admissions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will be responsible for greeting and interviewing patients, verifying insurance benefits, and collecting payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register and admit patients, ensuring accurate demographic and financial information
  • Verify insurance benefits and collect payments, including co-pays and deductibles
  • Document all information in our data system
  • Provide excellent guest relations and respond to telephone inquiries
Requirements

We prefer candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, medical office technology coursework, and a minimum of two years of hospital or medical office experience. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
