This position is essential for ensuring that our facilities operate efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude and the ability to solve problems independently. Strong communication skills are necessary to address the needs of vendors and customers while maintaining a pristine and functional Autowash environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee multiple locations, ensuring each site accurately reflects the Autowash brand and enhances customer satisfaction.
2. Prioritize a positive customer experience by maintaining cleanliness and usability of the building, parking areas, and surrounding grounds.
3. Ensure all machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition, promptly communicating any needs for parts, repairs, or new equipment.
4. Utilize observational skills to quickly identify issues deviating from established norms and apply training to stabilize, report, or, when appropriate, address repairs.
5. Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and rectify problems, utilizing daily checklists.
6. Plan and communicate updates for repair and installation projects, ensuring vendor access at each location.
7. Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks for buildings and landscapes as required.
8. Manage inventory of equipment and cleaning supplies, placing orders as necessary.
9. Perform various cleaning tasks at assigned locations, including:
- Emptying trash
- Cleaning wash bays
- Sweeping parking areas
- Picking up litter
- Cleaning equipment as needed.
10. Collaborate closely with management and facility staff to foster a cooperative team environment that reflects the company's quality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Accountabilities:
1. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
2. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
3. Commitment to maintaining cleanliness in grounds, common areas, and equipment rooms.
4. Maintain open lines of communication with supervisors and management.
5. Represent the company professionally at all times, both on and off the premises.
6. Adhere to safety standards, including wearing personal protective equipment and driving safely.
7. Complete assigned duties and participate in processes to address deficiencies.
Physical Requirements:
1. Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, and/or climb.
2. Must be able to lift heavy objects (50 pounds or more) above shoulder height.
3. Capable of moving heavy weights (250 pounds or more) along the ground.
4. Maintain an upright position for extended periods (over 8 hours).
5. Finger dexterity and hand coordination are essential.
6. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Minimum Qualifications:
Computer Skills:
Intermediate proficiency with Android tablets and PC hardware/software. Ability to learn and utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Basic understanding of networking hardware and reset procedures.
Education:
Preferred High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent technical training. Ongoing education or relevant experience may be considered at Autowash's discretion.
Experience:
6 months of previous employment or related experience is preferred. Previous experience in landscaping, facilities maintenance, automotive services, or other technical trades is advantageous.
