About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate In-Home Counselor/Social Worker to join our Intercept Intensive In-Home Program team at Youth Villages. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with families and youth to provide intensive, in-home therapeutic interventions and support.

Responsibilities
  • Carry a caseload of 4-6 families and provide individual therapeutic treatment interventions for assigned caseloads.
  • Meet with families a minimum of 3 times per week to assess and review their needs.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of clients' needs from a strength-focused, solution-based perspective.
  • Provide on-call crisis support to youth and families utilizing a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Collaborate with other community members working towards the success of the youth, including attending court or meeting with teachers.
  • Attend 3 weekly meetings (individual, team, and clinical consultation) for professional development to enhance clinical skills.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a social services discipline is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline is required.
  • At least 1 year of related experience in counseling and/or case management is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
