Location: Captain's ön Main - Espresso Bar, Pizzeria

Overview:
We are in search of a passionate and motivated coffee specialist to enhance our vibrant atmosphere. This role is pivotal in delivering outstanding customer experiences while ensuring the efficient operation of our beverage and dining areas. The ideal candidate should possess a love for coffee, pizza, and cocktails, and strive to create a friendly environment for all patrons.

Compensation:
Coffee Specialist (NO BAR SERVICE): Starting $10 + TIPS
Coffee Specialist/Versatile Crew (WITH BAR SERVICE): Starting $12 + TIPS
(The versatile crew member may engage in various tasks across the espresso bar, beverage area, food truck, and food preparation stations.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coffee Specialist Duties:
    • Craft and serve a diverse range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of coffee and tea varieties, brewing techniques, and presentation styles.
    • Ensure cleanliness and organization of all work areas, including the beverage bar and dining spaces.
    • Conduct regular cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
    • Engage with customers throughout their dining experience and assist with table clearing.
    • Support food preparation and service as required.
    • Deliver friendly and efficient customer service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
    • Accurately process customer transactions using the cash register and POS system.
    • Ensure proper storage and freshness of all food items.
    • Wash and sanitize all kitchenware and utensils.
  • Bar Service Duties:
    • Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
    • Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding alcohol service.
    • Monitor customer consumption and manage behavior responsibly.
  • Versatile Crew Duties:
    • Assist with pizza preparation and cash register duties at various locations.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food truck areas.
    • Perform routine cleaning tasks associated with food preparation areas.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new instructions and training.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of coffee brewing and beverage preparation is a plus but not required.
