  • Capture clear and accurate dental radiographs (X-rays) to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide post-treatment instructions for optimal recovery.
  • Maintain meticulous patient records, including medical histories and treatment details, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere by interacting professionally with patients and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Valid x-ray certification is essential for this role.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a dental assistant is necessary to excel in this position.
  • Proven experience taking impressions and pouring models is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in assisting during diverse procedures, such as composite/silver fillings, crown/bridge preparations, is essential.
  • Ability to efficiently set up and break down operatories for seamless patient flow.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively are crucial for success.
  • Experience with dental software such as Open Dental is a plus.
