Job Summary

SOS International LLC is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Santa Teresa, NM. As a key member of our medical support services program, you will provide direct care to patients, including children, pregnant women, and adults, in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients, including emergency and urgent care, within your scope of practice.
  • Consult with supervising physicians and pediatric advisers for complex medical, pediatric, or psychiatric patients.
  • Perform history and physical assessments, behavioral health care, minor outpatient procedures, patient education, and refer any care beyond your scope to local medical facilities.
  • Apply professional principles, procedures, and techniques for Nurse Practitioners in patient care.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Unrestricted, current Registered Nurse license and Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse license valid in the location of duty.
  • Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical provider experience in direct patient care as a certified nurse practitioner.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Clean criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish encouraged, but not required.
  • Experience in detention/correctional healthcare, ambulatory care, or pediatric care settings encouraged, but not required.
Work Environment

May be required to travel short notice. May be required to serve at various medical units within the sector/region. Duties will be performed on-site at medical units, with flexible scheduling and overtime optional.
