Job Overview

Position Summary:

As a Network Manager at Palziv North America Inc, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and directing the organization's technological framework. This position involves a wide range of duties, including technical support for PCs, systems management, information technology governance, cybersecurity measures, and programming for Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).

Core Responsibilities:

  1. PC Support:
    • Oversee software installations and configurations.
    • Resolve issues related to personal computers.
    • Manage local equipment acquisitions to ensure peak performance.
  2. Systems Management:
    • Administer server systems, including VMware.
    • Oversee firewalls, networking, and switch configurations.
    • Identify and implement innovative systems solutions.
    • Manage procurement for servers and related technology.
    • Administer Active Directory.
    • Handle Linux system administration.
  3. Information Technology Governance:
    • Serve as a Business Intelligence (BI) expert, assisting users and defining requirements.
    • Act as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) authority, providing guidance and understanding user needs.
    • Engage in the search and implementation of new information systems.
    • Collaborate with BI and ERP developers when available.
  4. Cybersecurity Management:
    • Assess cybersecurity threats and implement effective solutions.
    • Manage current security systems.
    • Identify and deploy new security technologies.
    • Develop and oversee cybersecurity protocols in partnership with risk management.
  5. HMI Programming:
    • Develop Human-Machine Interfaces, such as Cimplicity.
    • Ensure seamless interaction between users and machines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT management roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity risks and management strategies.
  • Expertise in systems administration, networking, and HMI programming.
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with BI and ERP programming.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity protocols and best practices.
