Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Systems Technician to join our team at Government Jobs. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, facility electrical infrastructure, refrigeration equipment, boilers, exhaust fans, and controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform skilled trades tasks at the journey level, including installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems and facility electrical infrastructure.
  • Work independently with significant initiative and advanced knowledge of trade practices and skills.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Management Superintendent and other crew lead positions to ensure high-quality work and effective project management.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems and electrical infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems and issues related to HVAC systems and electrical infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of trade practices and skills, including HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with significant initiative and advanced knowledge of trade practices and skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems and issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
