Position Overview:

Under the guidance of the Security Department leadership, the individual in this role is responsible for ensuring comprehensive security measures are in place to protect the well-being of guests and team members. This role is vital in safeguarding the organization’s assets while fostering a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure security presence across the entire facility.
  • Oversee the safety and security of guests and staff during assigned shifts.
  • Protect company assets throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Document incidents with detailed and precise reports.
  • Exemplify the company’s core values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion, and Dedication through actions and behavior.
  • Implement policies and procedures in accordance with Internal Controls and Gaming Regulations during shifts.
  • Provide assistance during emergencies.
  • Address a variety of guest inquiries and situations, including providing information about the venue and events, offering directions, and escorting guests when necessary.
  • Perform duties consistently while adhering to all relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in guest services, or a combination of education and experience. A year of experience in a security-related role is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must obtain and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications as mandated by Federal, State, and Gaming Commission regulations.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required.
  • Must pass a drug screening.
  • Prior experience in the gaming sector is strongly preferred.
  • Applicants must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Ability to obtain CPR/AED certification and complete Blood Borne Pathogen training.
  • Availability to work during holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts is essential.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient in using computer applications to create clear, concise, and accurate reports.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all relevant licenses and certifications as required by regulations.

Abilities:

  • Willingness to work various events with differing schedules as needed.
  • Ability to read and understand necessary documentation, training materials, and policy information.
  • Capability to assist ill or injured guests and team members.
  • Effective and professional communication with guests and team members at all levels.
  • Proficient in using tools and equipment specific to the role, including radios and computers.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Clear communication in English with guests in a professional manner.
  • Adherence to company policies and guidelines.
