Job Purpose:
Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy construction machinery in both field and workshop settings, often with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs on various types of construction machinery.
- Perform tasks efficiently while maintaining clear communication with both shop and field teams.
- Work in both field and workshop environments.
- Operate machinery to assess its functionality.
- Travel to different job sites for necessary repairs.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines set by Hunter Contracting Co.
- Carry out additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of machinery and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and comprehend service manuals.
- Possession of personal tools required for repairs.
- Comfortable working in dusty or dirty environments while adhering to safety practices.
- Effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to follow instructions and make decisions based on established standards.
- Demonstrated attentive listening skills and quick learning on the job.
- Detail-oriented approach to work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Education & Experience:
- Must hold a valid Driver's License.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
