Job Purpose:

Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy construction machinery in both field and workshop settings, often with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repairs on various types of construction machinery.
  • Perform tasks efficiently while maintaining clear communication with both shop and field teams.
  • Work in both field and workshop environments.
  • Operate machinery to assess its functionality.
  • Travel to different job sites for necessary repairs.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines set by Hunter Contracting Co.
  • Carry out additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of machinery and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to read and comprehend service manuals.
  • Possession of personal tools required for repairs.
  • Comfortable working in dusty or dirty environments while adhering to safety practices.
  • Effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to follow instructions and make decisions based on established standards.
  • Demonstrated attentive listening skills and quick learning on the job.
  • Detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Education & Experience:
  • Must hold a valid Driver's License.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
