Metric Geo is seeking a highly skilled professional to spearhead structural investigations for both commercial and residential properties. This esteemed organization is expanding its operations and is eager to onboard a qualified expert.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive site evaluations to determine damages resulting from various disasters, including severe weather events.
- Draft detailed reports that effectively communicate the cause and origin of structural failures, the extent of damages, and proposed remedial actions.
- Offer expert analysis and opinions to support or contest claims.
- Serve as an expert witness in legal matters, delivering testimony based on your investigations and findings.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering personnel as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Louisiana (PE)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in forensic engineering
- Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in field inspections
- Experience in depositions and expert testimony
- Familiarity with storm damage assessments
Additional Skills:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Capability to work autonomously
- Valid US driving license
- Willingness to travel as required
