Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Recreation Aide. As a key member of our Parks and Recreation department, you will be responsible for organizing recreational activities, community center events, and assisting with operational projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with the public, responding to customer inquiries, requests, and concerns.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and organizing recreation programs, activities, and events.
  • Monitor and report safety and security concerns, including unauthorized persons.
  • Participate in setting up and breaking down meeting rooms and facilities for functions.
  • Perform custodial work, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, replenishing supplies, and maintaining facilities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Florida driver's license or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to solve problems, address concerns, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of standard office computer equipment and software applications.
  • Ability to work late nights, early mornings, on weekends, and holidays.
