In this role, you will be responsible for organizing recreational activities, community center events, and assisting the Parks & Recreation department with operational projects.

Responsibilities:

* Communicate regularly with the general public and respond to customer inquiries, requests, and concerns.
* Assist in the planning, scheduling, and organization of recreation programs, activities, events, and services.
* Monitor and report unauthorized persons and other safety and security concerns.
* Notify appropriate staff of any incidents or accidents and complete required documentation.
* Participate in setting up and breaking down meeting rooms and facilities for functions.
* Perform custodial work as required, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, replenishing supplies, and cleaning spills.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Valid FL driver's license or ability to obtain one.
* Ability to solve problems and address concerns.
* Ability to contribute to team goals and objectives while maintaining effective working relationships.
* Knowledge of standard office computer equipment and software applications.
* Ability to work late nights, early mornings, on weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to follow and demonstrate written and oral instructions.
* Ability to determine priorities and meet deadlines and objectives.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
