Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Leasing Consultant to join our team at University Partners. As a key member of our leasing team, you will be responsible for leasing apartments, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with our maintenance team to ensure timely completion of work orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lease apartments in accordance with occupancy goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, and visitors
  • Conduct outside marketing under the direction of the Assistant Manager and Community Manager
  • Review applications from applicants and provide information to the Assistant Community Manager for verification
  • Coordinate the leasing process, including showing apartments and preparing lease paperwork
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including lease files and work orders
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Team to ensure timely completion of work orders
  • Participate in renewal efforts and complete lease renewals as necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; or High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent customer service, sales, and negotiation skills
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Able to read and understand lease documents
  • Able to be an effective team player and interact well with others
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Patient, even-tempered, and works well under pressure
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Able to follow directions from a supervisor
  • Able to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures

Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
