Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse, RN to join our team at Waterview Hills Campus in North Salem, Westchester County. As a Registered Nurse, RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our residents, administering medications and treatments, and documenting patient information accurately.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to provide care to designated residents
  • Administer medications and treatments to residents
  • Document patient information accurately
  • Report findings of ongoing observations and assessments to the Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, and/or Unit Manager
  • Identify and respond timely to patient concerns and needs
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills to ensure quality patient care
  • Prepare resident assignments considering patient needs and personnel competency
  • Monitor and evaluate the flow of activity and delivery of patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Licensed and registered in good standing in New York State as a Registered Nurse, RN
  • Experience with geriatric patients is desirable but not required
  • Sincere desire to work with the elderly, chronically ill, and disabled
  • Possess a spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and growth
  • Knowledge of medical, social, and psychological needs of residents, general nursing theory and practice, and infection prevention principles/methods
  • Ability to communicate well verbally with residents, families, and staff
