Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Heights Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative and clinical tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments.
  • Collect and record patient information, vital signs, and medical history.
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • One year of Medical Assistant experience, including phlebotomy experience, preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Successful completion of an Accredited National Certification Exam for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments, including clinical and administrative settings.
