Position Summary: The Quality Control Technician plays a crucial role within the Operations Team, focusing on quality assurance processes, inventory management, and auditing to ensure compliance with company standards and maintain product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing of syrup and water to verify compliance with KORE specifications.
  • Understand and implement mixing protocols and requirements.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials in preparation for production.
  • Evaluate sanitation processes and address any identified deficiencies.
  • Prepare equipment for operation, which may involve manual handling of equipment and materials.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to equipment functionality.
  • Follow and comprehend standard operating procedures diligently.
  • Perform product testing as mandated by KORE guidelines.
  • Oversee the calibration program to ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards, policies, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with good manufacturing practices and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in the food or chemical industry is preferred.
  • Forklift certification is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety and hazardous material handling is essential.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing setting, including standing for extended periods.
  • Physical demands include lifting over 50 lbs and manual dexterity for operating machinery.
  • Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to focus on tasks.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate to high noise levels due to operational machinery.
  • Potentially slippery surfaces in production areas.
  • Heavy forklift traffic in warehouse settings.
