We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Service Engineer (FSE) to join our team. This role involves direct engagement with our clients at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, AZ, in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for F-35B/F135 operations, encompassing systems, tools, materials, and processes. The FSE will engage hands-on with both the engine and aircraft, collaborating closely with squadron personnel.
- Deliver thorough reporting on support activities, including aircraft and engine status, operational data, and parts usage.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assist various Marine Fighter-Attack Squadrons and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadrons in troubleshooting and resolving customer issues, while adapting to shifting priorities.
- Utilize initiative and analytical skills to identify issues, investigate root causes, and coordinate solutions with various stakeholders.
- Adhere to Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) standards while participating in Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) initiatives.
- Be prepared for extended travel to support customer operations in various locations, including contested areas, and adapt to shift rotations as necessary.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 9 years in aviation maintenance.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer support, including domestic and international assignments.
- At least 5 years of experience in engine/aircraft maintenance and logistics support, with a background in supply chain management.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the F135 engine and related programs, including Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
- Understanding of turbine engine theory and operations.
- Knowledge of U.S. Marine Corps aviation operations and structure.
