Engineering Aid

You will serve as a Student Trainee (Engineering Aid) in the Asset Management Branch of the Public Works Directorate of the Marine Corps Air Station Yuma.

This is an internship opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in engineering and asset management.

• Assist with scanning, conversion, edit corrections, and archive filing of as-built and historical engineering drawings.
• Make routine measurements, simple arithmetic computations, and records specified data.
• Make prints from computer-aided drafting and design layouts using CAD software.
• Conduct routine research for customer-requested drawings contained in the archive drawing vault.
• Make prints from archived hard copy drawings utilizing specialized large format engineering copying equipment.

• Successfully completed one full academic year of post-high school study.
