Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Credit Analyst position demands a professional who can employ innovative thinking and analytical skills to tackle intricate disputes. This role necessitates collaboration with various levels within the organization, both internally and externally, while also requiring the ability to work autonomously. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in finance to facilitate resolutions with clients, all while upholding a high standard of professionalism. This position will focus on a portfolio of clients in Quebec, and proficiency in French is essential.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position operates on a hybrid model, requiring in-office attendance for three days each week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your Contributions Will Include:

Overseeing collection activities for designated accounts receivable. Conducting detailed investigations into customer disputes. Processing credits related to authorized programs and billing issues. Identifying and analyzing customer patterns to determine root causes of issues. Maintaining comprehensive credit history records. Recognizing delinquent accounts that may require external collection actions. Evaluating orders on credit hold and suggesting appropriate actions. Analyzing system data to enhance Accounts Receivable performance metrics. Supporting the Director of Credit and Collections with various projects as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking French, ideally French Canadian. An Associate's degree or a high school diploma/GED is required. A minimum of five years of experience in Finance and/or Credit is necessary. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to foster positive relationships at all levels. Capability to manage pressure and handle substantial workloads effectively. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy. Recognized as a collaborative team player. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Business Explorer is preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Familiarity with Amazon and EDI processes is advantageous.
