Feature and Gameplay Client-side Engineer Individual Contributor, collaborating with a Technical Lead

Main Responsibilities

Define, architect, and implement features and gameplay functionalities using Unity and C# Develop and integrate innovative technologies and tools in collaboration with content teams Explore the intricacies of core systems to enhance them as necessary Refine existing functionalities and UI/UX designs Proactively optimize code and memory for high-performance simulations under strict constraints Assess extensive tasks and systems with minimal guidance, facilitating the delegation of work Collaborate closely with fellow engineers to lead multi-week or month-long projects Deliver technical presentations on architectures you have developed to the team or division Identify and contribute to improving team and process inefficiencies Mentor junior engineers

Desired Skills and Experience

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education/work experience 8+ years of experience in the game industry or mobile application development as a software developer Experience with shipped titles and/or live games Proficient in C#, C/C++, or a similar programming language 5+ years of experience with Unity Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software methodologies Excellent communication skills and comfort in a collaborative environment In-depth understanding of client-server interactions

Bonus Skills and Experience

Familiarity with git Experience in performance profiling and optimization Mobile development experience focusing on iOS and Android
