Nurse Unit Manager

Job Summary:
Troy Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Unit Manager. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and training to deliver exceptional care.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.
- Staff Development: Mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and career development.
- Communication: Foster open and effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our nursing unit is in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
Requirements:
- Education: Current RN license in the state of New York.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in long-term care, with a minimum of 2 years in a charge nurse or leadership role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
