The Department of Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center is seeking a skilled interventional pulmonologist to support its growing pulmonary and thoracic surgery service.

As Associate Director, this provider will deliver exceptional clinical care and contribute to the expansion of the interventional pulmonary program. Procedures will be performed in a state-of-the-art pulmonary procedure unit.

The provider will be supported by dedicated pulmonary faculty, an established pulmonary and critical care fellowship program, and a robust thoracic oncology and surgery team.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality patient care in pulmonology and interventional pulmonary procedures.
Provide clinical pulmonary consultation across ambulatory and hospital-based settings, including critical care, emergency, medical, and surgical wards.
Lead system and process initiatives to build the interventional pulmonary program.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including thoracic surgery and medical oncology, to provide safe and accessible patient care.
Engage in quality and safety improvement activities.
Contribute to administrative and educational training activities, including resident and fellow recruitment, teaching, mentoring, and quality improvement initiatives.
Participate in and support clinical research efforts, maintaining high standards in clinical research practices.

Requirements:
M.D. or D.O. from a recognized medical school.
Board Certification in Pulmonology.
Completion of an Interventional Pulmonary Fellowship or board certification in Interventional Pulmonary Medicine.
Ability to obtain New Jersey Medical License, DEA, and CDS.
