About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule required calls and meetings to ensure timely project progress.
  • Project Management: Perform all required project activities and compliance, assigning resources as necessary to ensure project success.
  • Escalation and Issue Resolution: Escalate concerns to ensure projects stay on-track and resolve issues promptly.
  • Progress Tracking and Reporting: Track and advise on progress against established project milestones and budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure consistency of outputs against our company standards and client requirements.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage and oversee assigned project portfolios and battery storage systems, ensuring seamless project continuity.
  • Process Improvement: Work with our team to evolve and continuously improve processes, practices, and services.
  • Communication and Reporting: Develop presentations and reports using technologies such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc., to effectively communicate project progress and insights.
  • Leadership and Initiative: Take ownership of projects/portfolios, driving them forward through managerial courage, candor, and ability to 'stand-alone'.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Physics, or Environmental Sciences.
  • Experience: 5+ years of service industry, operational, and project management experience.
  • Leadership Experience: 3+ years of managing direct reports.
  • Industry Experience: Prior solar/renewables operations experience a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Battery storage (BESS) experience a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: PMI certification a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Excel, Google, MS Office, SmartSheet.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical diagrams, project design drawings, and other architectural plans/construction documents.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient understanding of electrical measurement tools, performance testing procedures, and product/software program interfaces.
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret PVSYST models and engineering/design data.
Physical Requirements:
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift 25 pounds.
  • Mobility: Ability to move safely over uneven terrain.
  • Work Environment: Ability to sit or drive for prolonged periods.
  • Physical Strength: Ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 50 pounds.
  • Weather Conditions: Ability to work in extreme weather.
