Job Description

As a Portfolio Lead at QE Solar, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, ensuring the smooth operation of our solar projects, and meeting or exceeding service-level requirements for our clients. To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent project management skills, a strong understanding of solar operations and maintenance, and the ability to work effectively with our team and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Schedule and coordinate project activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  2. Manage and oversee project portfolios, including operational oversight, logistical management, and site audits.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  4. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and quality.
  5. Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, physics, or environmental sciences.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, solar operations, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of solar operations and maintenance, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMI certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Asana, or Trello.
  • Knowledge of solar industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical diagrams, project design drawings, and other architectural plans and construction documents.
