Key Responsibilities- Provide expert immunization services to patients, including administering vaccines and monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement immunization programs that meet the needs of our patients and communities.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest immunization guidelines and recommendations from reputable sources, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).
- Conduct health education and outreach activities to promote immunization awareness and encourage patients to receive recommended vaccinations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our immunization services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Active pharmacy license in the state where you will be employed.
- Immunization certification through an accredited organization, such as the American Pharmacists Association (APhA).
- Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
