Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Early Intervention Specialist to join our team at Sevita. As a key member of our early intervention team, you will provide in-home services to infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities, supporting their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery: Plan, schedule, and provide weekly early educational in-home services for a caseload of infant/toddlers with disabilities, including developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders.
  • Assessment and Documentation: Administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet timelines, ensuring seamless communication with families and the team.
  • Activity Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and adapt activities for language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social/emotional development, tailored to each individual child's needs, utilizing best practices.
  • Parent Support and Coaching: Model effective adult-child interactions, provide written information on parenting and child development, and offer parents written weekly activities and coaching to support their child's growth.
  • Progress Monitoring and Sharing: Monitor, document, and share the child's progress with the family and team, ensuring a collaborative approach to supporting the child's development.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and two years of experience working with infants or young children and their parents, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Credentials and Licenses: Valid Child Center Permit Teaching Credential, Therapy or Nursing License preferred.
  • Transportation and Safety: Valid driver's license in good standing and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, effective communication skills to manage relationships, and a compassionate approach with a commitment to quality in everything you do.
