Culinary Artist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our team at Ling & Louie's in Meridian, Idaho. As a Wok Master, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes using woks, ensuring each dish is cooked to perfection with speed, precision, and an eye for quality presentation.

• Prepare and cook menu items using woks, following our recipes and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including all cooking and preparation areas.
• Monitor food stock levels, restocking items as needed, and ensuring all ingredients are fresh.
• Assist with daily kitchen operations, including prep work, cooking, and plating dishes.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the highest standards are met.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and operations.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.

• Previous experience as a line cook, preferably with experience using woks or in an Asian cuisine setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
