Key Qualifications

  • Experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Skilled in generating various reports, balancing and reconciling data, and identifying discrepancies with appropriate resolutions.
  • Exhibit sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively in both team-oriented and independent environments. Adaptable to changing circumstances in a dynamic setting.
  • Responsive to inquiries from clients and colleagues, with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including various accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation

The estimated starting base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $65,000.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Manage CRM data entry, including contacts and firm details.
  • Establish and maintain project records in Deltek Vantagepoint, from initial pursuit to project completion.
  • Organize and maintain project-specific network and Outlook folders.
  • Prepare monthly client billing invoices and compile project status reports, pay applications, and lien waivers as necessary.
  • Assist Project Managers with forecasting inputs and updates, serving as a Deltek Vantagepoint resource for them and their teams.
  • Review project reports to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Record daily bank deposits in the accounting system.
  • Provide administrative support for operational team tasks.
  • Perform office management duties as required, which may include greeting visitors, mail handling, and maintenance coordination.
  • Maintain a customer service orientation, treating every interaction with staff, clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and municipalities as an opportunity to showcase Galloway's capabilities.
  • May undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Educational Background

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Professional Experience

  • Typically, 2+ years of progressive experience in project administration or project accounting, preferably within an architectural, consulting engineering, interior design, or professional services firm.
