Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Intellectual Property practice within our Disputes, Claims, and Investigations group at Stout Risius Ross. The selected candidate will focus on intellectual property matters, including damages related to patent, copyright, and trademark infringement, as well as trade secret misappropriation in diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with drafting expert reports and preparing analysis
  • Manage teams and work closely with senior intellectual property experts
  • Be an important point of contact for client communications
  • Develop and implement engagement workplans
  • Oversee and participate in company, industry, and case-specific research functions
  • Manage document organization processes and identify relevant information for analysis
  • Assist with the management of client relationships
  • Participate in marketing and thought leadership efforts
Requirements
  • Significant experience in drafting expert reports and managing project teams
  • Strong analytical and technical finance, economics, and accounting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to critically analyze financial statements, accounting records, tax returns, and other financial documents
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work with changing client-imposed deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience working in a client service/professional services environment
Education and/or Training

A 4-year undergraduate degree with a concentration in economics, finance, and/or accounting is required. 4 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in damages quantification, preferably related to intellectual property disputes, is also required.
