Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Airframe and Powerplant Technician to join our team at Airborne Inc. This role requires a dedicated professional with extensive experience in aircraft maintenance and a solid understanding of industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Airframe & Powerplant certification or PEMCO Repairman's Certificate.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in heavy aircraft maintenance, ideally within an airline or MRO environment.
Essential Skills and Knowledge

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of maintenance documentation and procedures, including:

  • Company policy and procedure manuals
  • Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
  • Airworthiness Directives (ADs)
  • Service Bulletins
  • Maintenance Manuals

Additionally, the candidate must be proficient in interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. A strong command of tools and instruments necessary for maintenance tasks is essential.

Leadership and Teamwork

As a leader, you will:

  • Guide and direct the work of assigned employees.
  • Instruct team members on best practices and procedures.
  • Review and ensure the quality of work completed by your team.

Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment is crucial.

Physical Requirements

The role requires the ability to:

  • Engage in physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Climb and work from heights safely.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds and handle small components effectively.
