Hotel Operations Manager

This Residential Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest and employee satisfaction, and achieving planned revenue and profit goals. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment that requires independence and a strong work ethic, with a passion for the extended-stay sector and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide input to the annual budget, forecasting changes in operating expenses and labor costs.
- Provide business forecasts to manage costs, schedule labor in accordance with staffing guidelines, control utility expenses, and provide market analysis to the Revenue Management Department.
- Assist sales efforts as directed by the Management and corporate sales organization.
- Train front desk staff to successfully perform selling techniques and procedures for current promotions.
- Revenue management and adjust controllable expenses to maintain profit margins and achieve planned monthly budget.
Guest and Employee Satisfaction Expectations:
- Personally respond to guest complaint letters, Guest Assistance Contact Forms, and comment cards in accordance with company standards.
- Obtain satisfactory scores for Medallia (guest satisfaction survey) and take action to correct any deficiencies.
- Properly administer company policies and procedures for human resources management, payroll administration, personnel transactions, and fair treatment of employees.
- Deliver leadership by conducting business professionally and in accordance with all company policies.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Accommodations of a 2-Bedroom apartment are provided for Resident General Managers at our hotels, including utilities and high-speed internet.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance, including a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching up to 6% contribution.
- Salary ranges from $55,000 to $60,000, depending on experience.
- Short and long-term disability income, term life and AD&D insurance, vacation PTO, and holiday/sick PTO.
