About the Role:

Keller Electrical, a leading provider of industrial electrical services, equipment, and supplies, is seeking an experienced Electrical Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our industrial electrical team, you will be responsible for the successful bid, design, fabrication, and testing of all custom control panels and variable speed drive products produced at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the fabrication of control panels and provide hands-on field installation and start-up assistance for assigned projects.
  • Manage work force, including performance reviews, training, continuous improvement activities, and overall direction for control shop success.
  • Maintain UL508 documentation for shop, panel designs, and panel fabrications meeting these standards.
  • Supervise the fabrication of control panels and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their electrical needs and provide recommendations for electrical equipment upgrades.
  • Prepare quotes for customers, incorporating knowledge of industrial processes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with industrial control and control panels.
  • 5+ years of experience with Variable speed drives and DC to AC conversions.
  • Strong ability to mentor and train workforce.
  • Ability to understand and read electrical schematics and P&ID's.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
