Job Title: Radiology Technologist Level II

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Level II to join our team in San Francisco, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiology Technologist Level II to perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, and equipment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Competently perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.
  • May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or helping to orient other staff to the department.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist and evidence of application for CRT (may not begin work until the CRT is verified online).
  • OR CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist (from state where work is being performed).
  • ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire.
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire if required at the affiliate.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years recent relevant experience.
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and related information systems (Radiology (RIS), laboratory (LIS), electronic health records (EHR), EPIC, and picture archive and communication system (PACS).

This role is a 3-day a week opportunity (12-hour shifts) and requires weekends. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available to external candidates in accordance with the Sutter Health policy.

This position may regularly work, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drug(s) identified as hazardous, or potentially hazardous, by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for purposes of USP 800.
