About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Administrative Professional to join our Court Services division. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the administration and management of our justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily scheduling of clerks to attend and record proceedings of criminal and civil courts
  • Prepare written records of King County Superior Court events
  • Audit court minutes and exhibit discrepancies
  • Train and quality oversee staff and trainees
  • Represent the Court Services section in committee work
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • General office experience performing complex duties of moderate difficulty
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to regulate stressful situations and work independently
  • Strong computer skills, including data entry and typing experience
  • Willingness to adapt and learn quickly when challenged with new tasks
Desired Qualifications

Previous experience as a Court Clerk and/or experience in a judicial environment is highly desirable.
