Key Responsibilities- Lead and Direct Employees: Direct employees and plant floor activities to achieve a consistent and high-quality product.
- Ensure a Safe Workplace: Enforce safety and sanitation rules and principles to ensure a safe workplace.
- Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Company regulatory requirements.
- Employee Relations and Performance Management: Maintain positive employee relations, including participating in evaluation and training of hourly personnel, and track employees' work performance and attendance to ensure performance metrics are met.
- Process Improvement: Utilize metrics/data to evaluate and improve work processes, and maintain line-related system and regulatory documentation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other supervisors and cross-functional teams to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
- Scheduling and Planning: Plan and establish work schedules.
- Education and Experience: 4-year degree in a related, business, or technical field such as food science, operations management, or engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Production or Operations Management: 2-5 years of experience in a production, operations management, or supervision role, preferably in the food processing industry.
- Bilingualism: Bilingual - Spanish and English is preferred.
