About the Role:- Support and work in various departments and units at Mass Eye & Ear as needed.
- Collaborate with interns, residents, fellows, and attending physicians to provide high-quality patient care.
- Utilize excellent observational skills and ability to set priorities to manage complex patient care.
- Function effectively under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Maintain the standards of professional nursing practice and demonstrate competence for patient care through the utilization of the nursing process.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of nursing practice.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary care teams to provide comprehensive care to patients with surgical and/or medical conditions of the eyes, ears, nose, and throat.
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.
- Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in Massachusetts.
- 2 years of medical/surgical Nursing or ED or Inpatient experience.
- Critical Care experience preferred.
- Related experience required for advanced clinical and specialty areas.
