Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team at Immanuel Pathways PACE. As a Recreational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing the needs and interests of our participants and developing individualized therapeutic recreation plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and direct a comprehensive therapeutic recreation program tailored to the needs and limitations of our frail elderly program participants.
  • Assess the needs, interests, and capabilities of participants and develop individualized therapeutic recreation plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Provide and coordinate services for a frail or elderly population, including recreational activities and therapeutic interventions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in a social or recreational program providing and coordinating services for a frail or elderly population.
  • One year of experience working with the frail or elderly population, or completion of job-specific training related to working with the elderly population within the first six months of hire.
  • Eligibility to obtain Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist certification through NCTRC.
