As a key member of our Finance Engineering Team at Nike, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and delivering high-quality solutions that support our Finance Transformation Journey. Collaboration and Partnership

As a team, we regularly interact with Finance and Technology partners globally. You will partner with program, product, and engineering peers to ensure we are aligning appropriate technology outcomes with prioritized product initiatives.

Beyond our team, collaboration with other global engineering teams, business stakeholders, and technical peers to ensure solutions delivered by our team is essential.

You will regularly engage with the engineers on our collaborative, diverse DevOps squads to plan and deliver outcomes where financial service, security, reliability, and performance globally at scale are expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help multiple squads navigate technical design and implementation strategies.
  • Innovate, deliver high-quality code, share best practices, and make critical technical design choices.
  • Coach the team to innovate, design, build, test, deploy, and maintain sustainable technology.
  • Write code, do peer reviews, and share other DevOps responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • 2 years' Technology Leadership or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years' experience in building RESTful micro-services using Java or.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering microservice architecture at scale.
  • Deep understanding and practical application of modern build, continuous integration, and testing strategies.
  • AWS Environment experience: EC2, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, CLI.
  • Tool familiarity: Jenkins, GitHub, IntelliJ, Jira.
