Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bicycle Technician to join our team at DICK'S Sporting Goods. As a key member of our Bike Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to cyclists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and repair bicycles to the highest standards, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide personalized product recommendations to customers, leveraging your knowledge of industry trends and research.
  • Uphold company standards for merchandise presentation, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Engage with customers to demonstrate passion, knowledge, and dedication to their sport or activity.
  • Promote company programs, including warranty sales, loyalty programs, and seasonal promotions.
  • Achieve sales goals through selling bikes and related merchandise.
  • Assist with the assembly of exercise equipment as needed.
  • Maintain merchandise presentation standards and signage of the Bike Department to company standards.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support the team across the store, taking an all-hands-on-deck approach.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in building, repairing, and selling bicycles is preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally.
  • Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
