Responsabilidades del Trabajo- Trabajar en una variedad de instalaciones post-agudas en tu área
- Asegurar los "5 derechos" en la administración de medicamentos: la persona correcta, el medicamento, la dosis, la vía y el tiempo según los registros del paciente
- Administrar medicamentos a residentes y pacientes, preparando medicamentos cuando sea necesario
- Supervisar la auto-administración de medicamentos por parte de los residentes y proporcionar recordatorios
- Notificar a la enfermera supervisora sobre cualquier inquietud
- Mantener registros de signos vitales y otra información relacionada con la administración de medicamentos
- Asegurar la confidencialidad de los residentes
- Ayudar a los residentes a completar actividades de la vida diaria (AVD)
- Certificación actual de Asistente de Medicamentos Licenciado (AML) en Virginia
- Diploma de secundaria o GED (como mínimo)
- Certificación actual de asistente de enfermería (CNA/LNA/STNA)
- Mínimo 1 año de experiencia como asistente de enfermería (o en un rol relacionado)
- Certificación de Soporte Vital Básico (BLS) para proveedores de atención médica a través de la Asociación Americana del Corazón (AHA)
- Conocimiento de terminología farmacológica y médica
