About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical BIM Designer to join our team at Amazon Web Services. As a key member of our Data Center Design Engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative data center solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop detailed Mechanical and Plumbing systems for data centers using Revit.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine data center designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain BIM models and construction documents for Mechanical and Plumbing systems.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings and provide input on design decisions.
  • Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations and travel to data center sites as required.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in design and engineering of Mechanical and Plumbing systems for mission-critical facilities.
  • 4+ years of experience using Revit for producing Mechanical and Plumbing engineering BIM models and construction drawings.
  • Practical knowledge and understanding of Mechanical and Plumbing codes (IPC, or UPC) and safety regulations.
