Animation Programmer

Bethesda Game Studios, the renowned developer behind Starfield, The Elder Scrolls, and Fallout, is seeking a skilled Animation Programmer to join its team. As a key member of the animation pipeline, you will work closely with Technical Artists, Animators, and Gameplay Programmers to create a leading-edge animation experience.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement animation systems
• Develop and maintain real-time animation technology and techniques
• Work with animators and technical artists to craft solutions to complex animation problems

• Expert-level knowledge of real-time animation systems
• Extensive experience with real-time animation middleware or equivalent custom solutions
• Experience with animation blend graphs, real-time IK, animation compression, and advanced animation memory management
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• At least 5 years of game industry software development experience

• Experience developing for multiple platforms
• Generalist experience in other core areas of game development, such as AI or gameplay programming
• Passion for developing and playing games

The typical base pay range for this position is between $75,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on the candidate's primary work location and relevant experience. Additional rewards, such as merit increases and discretionary bonuses, may be allocated based on individual performance.
