Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomy Instructor to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As a Phlebotomy Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and training students in the field of phlebotomy, including hands-on and theoretical instruction, classroom management, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive phlebotomy training programs
  • Prepare and maintain current course syllabi and lesson plans
  • Ensure courses are taught in accordance with established standards
  • Recommend instructional materials and laboratory facilities/equipment
  • Supervise students and provide guidance and support
Requirements
  • High School diploma from an accredited school
  • Current Phlebotomy Technician certificate
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Minimum 1 year of working as a Phlebotomy Technician in a clinical laboratory, hospital, or physicians' office and/or phlebotomy experience
