This position is pivotal in shaping and executing the organization's strategy for managing cyber risks associated with third-party relationships. The Director will ensure that all partnerships adhere to regulatory standards, align with corporate cybersecurity policies, and fulfill the organization's risk management criteria. Responsibilities include:

  • Program Development and Management: Crafting and overseeing the third-party risk management framework.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Evaluating and addressing risks posed by vendors and suppliers.
  • Vendor Relationships: Building and maintaining effective partnerships with external entities.
  • Incident Management: Leading responses to cybersecurity incidents involving third parties.
  • Reporting and Communication: Ensuring clear communication of risks and strategies to stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Guaranteeing adherence to relevant laws and standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in cybersecurity across various sectors.
  • At least five (5) years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • CISSP certification is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in computer engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity and risk management, with a focus on third-party risk management.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
  • Additional certifications such as SANS, ISACA (CGEIT, CISA, CISM, CRISC) are advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
