Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist

Salary Range: $25-$27/hr
We are looking for a motivated AP Clerk to join our team at PeopleShare in the Lawrenceville, NJ area. As a temp-to-hire employee, you will work Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm (Fully in office).

Responsibilities:
- Process and review accounts payable invoices for accuracy and timeliness.
- Review Procore data for internal and external commitments related to vendor invoices.
- Verify receipt of materials through cost engineer-coded packing lists.
- Route project-coded invoices electronically for approval.
- Manage credit card receipts and reconcile vendor statements.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve payment and invoice-related issues.
- Support closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals.
- Monitor accounts payable aging reports for timely payment.
- Record and mail payments as per company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide assistance to other accounting and finance teams as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate and/or Procore and TimberScan.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to accounts payable.
