Job Summary

This skilled position involves installing, configuring, and servicing Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control, and CCTV Systems at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety Systems, Access Control, CCTV, and Security Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and program integrated security and fire alarm systems.
  • Respond to customer service calls and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Participate in after-hours service program and work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Communicate with central dispatch on work order status and receive updates on customer issues.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and specifications.
  • Supervise and inspect equipment installation to meet customer and contract specifications.
  • Complete necessary certification courses on internal and external products used.
  • Submit task-related documentation in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
  • Experience with hand tools, test equipment, and commissioning devices.
  • Ability to install conduit wire and fire alarm devices.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual positions, such as climbing ladders and working in crawl spaces.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overnight travel may be required.
  • Demonstrates a prominent level of customer service and ability to lead and work well with team members.
  • Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to learn quickly.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
  • Able to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local codes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two-year associate degree in Electronics, Network, Computer Science, or related field.
  • NICET level II or ability to obtain in first year.
