POSITION SUMMARY
The Golf Cart Repair Technician is primarily responsible for assisting in diagnosing and resolving performance issues related to golf carts. This role involves developing repair strategies and executing them efficiently while adhering to quality standards and service schedules.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude, performing all job functions as outlined below.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Diagnose and troubleshoot golf cart performance issues, collaborating with experienced technicians and vendors as necessary.
2. Recommend additional services and accessories when appropriate.
3. Conduct repairs on golf carts, including the removal and installation of motors, solenoids, axles, and more.
4. Perform electrical work, such as diagnosing complex electrical systems, tracing wiring, and repairing chargers.
5. Uphold the company’s standards of internal customer service.
6. Document work performed, including parts used and pricing, in a clear and timely manner.
7. Inspect and repair tires as needed.
8. Maintain a clean and organized service area.
9. Complete other related tasks as required.
10. Must provide personal reliable transportation and own tools, with a fuel/vehicle allowance available if used.
11. Maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance with a good driving record, operating vehicles safely and adhering to speed limits.
12. Comply with all Fair Housing laws.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
1. Professional experience in repairing both older and newer American-made golf carts (E-Z-GO, Yamaha, Club Car, ICON, Excel).
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
3. Ability to make sound decisions and demonstrate teamwork by assisting colleagues.
4. Capability to adapt interpersonal skills to various audiences.
5. Valid Driver's License is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
1. Stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or grip, and reach with hands and arms.
2. Frequently climb stairs, walk, talk, hear, and drive a golf cart on the property.
3. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 lbs.
4. Utilize common office equipment, including telephones, computers, keyboards, mice, two-way radios, and various keys.
POSITION SPECIFICS & BENEFITS
1. Full-time position; Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
2. PTO accrued annually, with increasing hours based on years of service.
3. 401K with employer contribution.
4. Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance available after a waiting period.
5. Background check required.
6. 90-day probationary period.
