Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Interior Designer to join our team at Studio Schicketanz, a full-service architectural firm providing a wide range of architecture, planning, and interior design services.

As a key member of our Interior Design Department, you will be responsible for creating innovative and sustainable interior spaces that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting floor plans, interior elevations, and furnishing plans using REVIT
  • Sourcing architectural interior finishes, furnishings, and fabrics
  • Preparing Plumbing, Appliance, Finish, and Furnishing schedules
  • Preparing renderings, presentation materials, and specifications for client presentations
  • Obtaining quotes and samples
  • Collaborating with the design assistant to keep furniture spreadsheets updated for order processing
  • Working with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and agencies to meet overall project objectives
  • Ensuring correct production of furniture and on-time delivery
  • Assisting in supervising furnishing inspections and installations
  • Assisting in driving project to timely completion

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience
  • Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • LEED accreditation preferred or required within 6 months of hire
  • Hospitality experience is preferred but not required

Location: Carmel

Hours: Full Time - 40 Hours in Office

Compensation: Hourly: Based on Experience
